The following account takes place in system: Hypoe Flyi HW-W e1-7966 body: 1 d
My face, left shoulder, arms, legs took some force in the impact when I descended from orbit. Nothing a stint in the med bay won’t fix, not that I can say the same for the Scarab SRV I ploughed through on my rendezvous with the ground.
It was above Hypoe Flyi HW-W e1-7966 1 d when the fear began to set in, what seemed to be less than seconds, an explosive force, several cracks in the Remlock and there I was… walking in the air. I thought to myself I was like that Starman, waiting in the sky. Described in the 1970’s by an extra-terrestrial they called Ziggy, not sure if it was one of the lost Guardians you sometimes hear about.

When I could no longer make out the Gaston-Leroux it was time for some quick thinking, I angled my body towards the ground as best I could and fired my jetpack. The progress was slow at first. I needed to reserve my fuel to blast, when I was close to the surface to avoid becoming part of it.
During the decent I had time to reflect on how my scanners had lied to me, or how I may have miss read them, the area was supposed to be littered with geological features. After hurling the Scarab around for almost an hour admiring the view of the Class iii gas giant Hypoe Flyi HW-W e1-7966 1 hanging there in the teal green sky, littered with stars of the galaxy core like a thick blanket of glitter. Also my new vantage point did give me a better view of the system’s black hole.
Lost in my thoughts I never noticed the Scarab, before blacking out I remember thinking to my self, “Jav. The lesson here was, no matter how extinct a geyser looks, never put your face over it.”
